Because my husband is a musician, we end up watching band/ music documentaries. One thing that those music documentaries always remind me, is that the musicians that made it big, never gave up. They stayed passionate and married to their craft. They didn’t do it for the money, they were driven by self-expression. When they were not playing shows, they busked. When they were not practicing, they were writing.
They didn’t become who they were through concerning themselves with the competition. They didn’t fill a concert of 100,000 by hoping they would get responses from a single action, or launching something once and just waiting. They kept going. Not because they thought they should, but because their soul didn’t allow them to do anything else other than create. They were continuously guided by their intuition, creativity, and passion.
There were no excuses for them, for they were not needed.
That is the difference between the ones that made it big and the ones that didn’t. The ones that made it big, lived with their purpose and passion exploding inside of them. (These people are so lucky that they live with this motivation.) So question… Does that sound like the type of person you are when it comes to what you love?
