I know that for the longest time I was contradicting so many things that I was doing. I would try to succeed in one area of my life and at the same time not be fully present in my efforts. Or I would have this belief float around in my mind that I couldn’t have it all at once. Isn’t that so stupid!?
Why we create these beliefs for ourselves is something we will never really know. Only that maybe it is because we fear change… fear growth… fear what people think… fear failure… fear success… fear paying taxes… fear travelling… fear what people think (did I say that already?) The craziest thing is that you probably fear what people think about you making more money and being successful, yet you are not fearing what people think about you being average or staying small? Or vise versa?
Once I wrote down over 100 fears that I kept within me, deep down in the dark ocean of my mind. These beliefs (which I call belief fish, because that is what they do, they swim around in the dark ocean of your subconscious mind), are a pain in the ass! You have no idea what’s in there and you can’t find out what’s in there… until you face a few of your fears to begin with and start the process of peeling back the layers of patterns, beliefs, etc.
It sounds like a lot of work, and I’ll say that you obviously are not going to get rid of all the self-sabotaging beliefs that you don’t in a day, but there is hope. Training your mind is an ongoing process, yet when you start to become aware of your patterns you’ve picked up on, why and how to release them as you move forward – that is when you can move through life with a light heart, light head and great attitude about the way you process your time here on earth.
Be a successful jumper! My biggest ‘ah-ha’ moment was when I had been fearing something for years and then I finally said “F%#K IT” one day and took the leap. I got to the other side of my fear with an overwhelming feeling that I had been holding myself back for so long. There was nothing to be scared of other than “the jump”. After that, you get creative, inspired, and you make it work.
The key factor was that I has support and guidance that allowed me the confidence to take the leap. I KNOW as well, that when you don’t have support, it feels incredibly hard and upsetting. But truthfully, I see so many creative souls stay small and not allow themselves to thrive, due to not having supportive family/ friends, or even the negative manager in their own minds. You are special, you are unique and YES, with a little guidance, YOU WILL MAKE IT (however that looks for you).

Thank you. I agree. JUMP BIG! I had to take the leap a few years ago, for I just was not happy at all. I decided that my happiness matters.
