Your “verve” is your amazingly special ability or talent to be able to pull something off with style, panache, and ease. It is that exciting sparkle that some people have. It’s that sound feeling you get from someone that knows who they are and why they are here.
If you have already found your ‘verve’, you are very lucky! It is made up of a special formula that includes self confidence, positivity, uniqueness, intuition, passion, creativity and balance. Your ‘verve’ comes into your life when you finally trust your own instincts and natural abilities.
Your ‘verve’ is YOU… living out your true authentic power. Your ‘verve’ is purely focused creative energy. Your ‘verve’ is a sense of the zest and magic you have to offer this world. It is the complete and utter inner realization, that YOU are an integral part of this Earth.
You can tell when someone has found their ‘verve’, for they are glowing, happy, confident, colorful and in balance with the world around them. If you have not found your verve yet, have no fear… It is completely accessible to you as well. You just have to ease into it; accepting the idea of understanding yourself completely and trusting life.
Here are a few tips to get you started today. Write them down in a journal if you can.
- Start paying attention to all of the details in your life.
- Do not ignore your intuition (for listening to it is the fastest way to get you to where you want to be).
- Find out what excites you to the point in where you cannot stop smiling.
- Find out what brings you to tears of joy.
- Realize what kinds of things get you leaping out of bed in the morning and what excited you to fall asleep again… ready for the next sunrise.
- Decide what colors make you feel good.
- Find out what makes you heart skip a beat and what makes you feel colorful inside.
- Decide what activities or people light the inner flame within you (this is very important).
- Think about the types of activities/ hobbies that make you happy and good about yourself.
Learning about yourself is not an overnight task. People can literally go a whole lifetime without finding out who they really are, however, paying attention to the signs around you and listening to your heart’s true desires is what will help you find the answers to finding your ‘verve’… sooner than later.
This is all a part of understanding who you are and what you want to stand for in your life. The parts that make up the puzzle of your true self, are so important to hold on to. They are part of your inner formula that create your very own zest for life.
Who you are (on the inside) is a direct representation of how you want to show up in the world. EVERY decision you make, is a direct reflection of who YOU are. When you start to remember this, making decisions start to become much easier and life starts to flow with ease.

I am getting there, the other day at a party someone asked what I was on, it took me a minute to relaise what she was asking. She said you are always so positive, fun, agreeable but strong, I guess I am,
worrying and sitting inside are wasted moments.
There are lots of cliches about living life to the fullest, the reason everyone likes them is because mainly what they say is true. You do only get one shot at life – I want to make sure nothing I want to do is missed off. I am 60 training for my first triathlon and live in New Zealand, living here does give you a head start. http://www.sundaynight.co.nz a bit out of date but will give you the idea.
Thanks for Wild and Creative.
