I am a huge animal advocate. I donate probably close to 20% of any income I have ever made to help find fosters for US dogs and cats that will be euthanized in shelters and help end the disgusting dog meat/ fur trade in Asian countries. I don’t do this to feel good about myself, in fact stories that I see and hear have haunted me for years. I do this simply because I am so deeply bothered by the injustice for animals, that other then donate my time and raise money myself, donating money for a legitimate cause is an effective way to keep momentum on such positive advocacy.
I am not telling you this so that I pull at your “animal heart strings”, but telling you this so that as you make money in your business, you might consider somehow doing your part to make the world a better place. 75% of the coaches or entrepreneurs that I see pop up in private groups online, start their messages with how they made X amount of dollars on their latest launch, or X amount of dollars this month already.
Congratulations on your successes. However, I want to ask you (if you are one of these coaches/ business owners); with the “blesssings” you are being given with your lucrative launches or high-ticket clients/ jobs, what are you doing to help our planet and make the world a better place?
It is so easy for people to turn their head these days on negative issues. Something upsetting is heard almost everyday in the news, TV, internet, etc. It’s horrible. However we cannot turn our heads to these issues. We cannot turn our heads and not do anything at all. No, we cannot help every single cause, or donate to every single charity; however I urge you to make the decision to think deeply about what issues really touch your heart, or create the desire within you to help support. Remember, when it comes to helping out… your time can be just as valuable as donating money.
